for results of aerobatics i have put into a hidden page on the website, saving clutter.

Just cut and paste the below link and you shold be able to download the revelant year excel sheet.

The results give a score for each move so you will have to refer to the relevent doc to see what scored what.

i would like to know if an aircraft has no wheels as per orginaleqipment manufacturers (OEM) design spec's and is hand lanched as per OEM flight instructions, how can this be downgraded to a 0.  Surely a nice climb out after being hand launched  should get something.

So if penalities are for non performance on takeoff with no wheels why the nice score with no wheels and the a/c is skidded in?

Maybe the judge doesnt like spads and is very prejuced to such fun flying machines.

Thinking of getting a trojan so i will have favourable scores from said judge next time.

Next time we should ban spads, electrics, and any other bloody plane that is better than mine, plus make all the other pilots use one hand.

Yes that sounds just fine to me.

Take a concrete pill and harden up, ya downpipe driver!!!!!!!!!!!

You should get marked down more for such an untidy plane!!!!!!

Cheers Greg:wink:

Why buy a Trojan when you have a perfectly good 50cc Extra in the garage?:D

As I was chief judge i will inform you that the reason you scored a perfect 0 on take off was the fact that it banked left and just about clobbered the ground before a nice accent. maybe if the nice accent had happened from the beginning you would have actually scored something.

As for the landing it was a nice skid in hense getting an 8.

As greg said build a bridge, get the F**k over it and learn how to throw.:D

Or better yet fly that 50cc Gaser.

P.S i am not anti spad, i am in the process of getting on sorted for myself!!

As taken from the Sportsman pattern. Bloody hard to do with out wheels, zero would be a correct score.:)

3.2 Sportsman Schedule:

1. Take-Off Sequence: The model must stand still on the ground with the motor

running without assistance and shall then take off. The takeoff run must be straight and the

model shall lift gently from the ground and climb at a gradual angle. When sufficient altitude

has been gained the model must be turned 90 degrees away from the judges, followed by a

270 degree turn to finish heading downwind in front of the judges. This will be scored one to

ten, unlike F3A.

Downgrades:

1. Model does not track straight and lift off smoothly.

2. First turn not exactly 90 degrees.

3. Second turn not exactly 270 degrees.

4. Climb angle not constant

10. Landing: This is a continuation of the rectangular approach and is judged from a

height of about two metres. The model flares smoothly to touch the ground in the landing

zone with no bounces or changes in heading and rolls to a stop.

Downgrades

1. Descent not constant.

2. Model does not flare and touch down smoothly.

3. Landing not within the defined landing area.

4. Changes in heading during the descent or roll out.

Graham, point taken.  Hopefully this saturday for test flight

Greg, I have hundreds of those harden the F@#% up pills.  I have regularly handed them to to kids who finish 20th and still want a partcipation certificate, Jacob Oranm for his hamstring, teachers who dont like bullrush, osh inspectors and anyone else who uses pc for excuses.:)

Geoff, the model is still (in my hand), motor running( at 10000rpm beside my head and 160 decibels going thru one perforated eardrum to the next).  It was straight into wind, its just we had a crosswind?and with only one hand on the stick and transmitter it is complete chaos until the other hand gets there.

Greg, man love not for me.  Just need one of those pills:wink:

Spads, Will put something together and put on here for all to look and suggest.
