had a fly today tuesday 28 Sep.  Still bloody wet even in front of the flight box.  The old man smashed his yak into a fence so thats him out for Norsewood IMAC and I broke a prop on the gnd on takeoff.

It will need 4 days of this to really make the field nice again to takeoff.  Mind you Noel B had no trouble taking off with tric grear just a longer run up.

I inspected the field @ 1715 this afternoon, Saturday 2 Oct.
RW is very squishy @ N end and underwater @ S end.  Most of the RW is too soft to walk on but there is a small area in the centre which is OK for hand launches & vertical arrivals.  The pit area is not bad.

The field is just OK for glider comp tomorrw except that John has top dressed the grass.  I guess superphosphate is bad for radio gear?
