FLYING
This protocol has been established to ensure that club members can enjoy unrestricted safe flying, and to protect our relationship with the owner and near neighbours.
Radio Frequency Control
Switching on two transmitters on the same frequency spells disaster. Accordingly, a system of control is necessary to ensure a frequency clash does not occur.
Before switching on you must at all times obtain the correct frequency peg from the channel control board and clip it to your transmitter. Your personal peg is clipped to the channel control board so that others know who is flying on that frequency.
The system works well provided everyone follows the rule. Occasionally there are lapses when someone switches on momentarily, say to make an adjustment to their model. If you cause another model to crash you can be expected to pay the full cost of replacement, because insurance will not cover you.
